WHAT IS AN EMPLOYER OF RECORD (EoR)?

You direct the work. We're the employer.

An Employer of Record (EoR) legally employs your offshore staff on your behalf. They sign an employment contract with TalentBridge, are paid through compliant local payroll in their country and receive their statutory entitlements, while you continue to choose who joins the team, set their work and manage them day to day.

WHO IT'S FOR

EoR is a fit if any of these sound familiar

You engage offshore contractors directly and aren't sure about your Fair Work misclassification exposure.

You want to grow your offshore team without setting up a local entity in each country.

The contractors  work set hours, use your systems and take daily direction from your Australian team.

Your current provider's margins aren't transparent, or you have no say in what your team is paid.

After the Fair Work Commission's decision in Pascua v Doessel Group, a Philippines-based "contractor" was found to be an employee.

FAQ

Questions about EoR

Does my team pay or conditions change?

No, we lift and shift their current employment benefits and conditions into a compliant agreement under TalentBridge.

Our team isn't in the Philippines. Can you still help?

Yes. Wherever your team is located, we handle the transition in line with local employment law, with payroll, contracts and benefits set up aligned to what they are currently receiving.

Can we transition part of the team first?

Yes. Many clients start by moving a few team members, then transition the rest once they're comfortable. We'll plan a timeline that suits you.

Can you also recruit new staff for me?

Yes. Alongside EoR, TalentBridge recruits experienced offshore staff across accounting, engineering, financial services, administration and more. See our solutions

How long does a transition take?

Most transitions take about 4-8 weeks. We time the move around  your payroll cycle, so there's no gap in employment or work.

We engage our offshore team directly as contractors. Why is that a risk?

The Fair Work Commission has ruled that offshore workers engaged as independent contractors can be found to be employees, depending on how the relationship works in practice.

If that happens, your business could face claims that only employees can make, such as unfair dismissal. Please seek independent legal advice to understand if this ruling applies to your situation.

READ: are my offshore staff employees?

Do I still manage my team?

Yes. You choose who joins, set their work and manage them day to day. TalentBridge handles the employment side.
